Hello friends of Blooming Blossoms, we’re now into spring, the snow drops have come and gone, the daffodils are starting to show there sunny heads and the blue skies are a glorious bright blue!

January through to March has flown by so far and I ran my first half marathon raising over £200 for PBC to have a look at some very funny photos please visit www.justgiving.co.uk\sarahjames19silverstone

I completed a lovely arrangement out of blues Eryngium, green Chrysanthemums and pink Roses for a thank you at a 60th celebration at the market place restaurant in Faringdon, Oxfordshire.

As always it’s lovely to play with innovative and new flowers so created a bouquet with Pink Anemones and Large Purple Chrysanthemums.

2011 is going well so far…..will hopefully have some exciting news for you all in early April :o) xxx

Hello friends of Blooming Blossoms, hope you are all very well and enjoying the cosy warmth this time of year brings in side our homes, apologies I should have written sooner alas I have been extremely busy this October to November.

This month I have been very naughty and you are going to have to let me indulge as I have done a lot of flowers for family and friends as it is again that time of year for me with birthdays and Christmas coming up extremely quickly.

I did a lovely unusual bouquet for my mum with chrysanthemums, berried ivy, amaryllis and some beautiful roses all in orange, red green and black. For my own birthday this (Friday) which I am a little bit daunted by as I will be 30, I have created a dried hydrangea and chrysanthemum hand tie in my favourite colours purple.

I went to friends last night for a lovely evening, a friend from university whom I haven’t seen for 2 years or so. Rhi hosted a Pamper Party, with her amazing “Rhi’s Beads” for sale and also her friend Becky did some pamper treatments for us. So I have lovely painted lilac nails ready for the celebrations at the weekend. Thank you girls!!!

Last few weeks have been really busy at Jane Packer so it is lovely to have a weekend off. The Christmas stock has all arrived and been put in place and looks lovely very natural and white, lovely ideas coming through as always in the very famous and exclusive Jane Packer style.

Have met some lovely people this month from Business Link, Chambers of commerce and also had contact from a lovely florist in Reading called Green Parlour, Florist looking at how we can meet the needs of the Olympic games.

Looking forward to next weekend where I get to celebrate one of my best friends 30th….. what flowers shall I create for her?.......will put up pictures once created

Enjoy November and I'll post again soon :o) xxx

Hello and welcome to my blog which is all about what has been happening recently in the world of Blooming Blossoms. So I ought to give you all an update of my weekend.

On Saturday Andy and I went across to the village I grew up in and entered the Clanfield produce show in Oxfordshire. It was lovely to see many people there and they had over 120 entrants. I entered three classes “A song title” which I did Lady in Red, I also entered “Highland Fling” and finally “Exquisite dinning” managed to win all three. Bit of a shock!
I met lots of lovely people at the Wow Weddings show yesterday in the South Cotswold show near Castle Coombe. Thank you to Teresa for her kind words of encouragement (Glad you liked the flowers sweetheart! x). I met a lovely couple called Beryl and Mike who have been married for over 30 years they both run two Morris Minors for weddings, I would certainly recommend them if you’re after a lovely little car. :o)  http://www.morrisminorweddings.co.uk/about.php
I also caught up with Susie Mackie www.susiemackie.com a photographer who captures a romantic but cotemporary approach in every photograph; I first met Susie at the Wow Weddings Cheltenham Wedding Show. Susie is a lovely lady very friendly and I loved her new necklace designed by Teresa www.jewellerybyteresa.com and a gift from her husband for her anniversary (Congratulations Susie and partner)

Have a look at the latest pictures from the produce show and the wedding show under images on the website.
Thank you for reading will blog again soon Sarah xxx
